THE SHORT ANSWER

Adobe Analytics consulting connects implementation, segment definitions, and analysis to business questions. On Beat Digital investigates site and resource engagement, works with Adobe data feeds, and reconciles reporting across analytics and downstream data systems.

A report can be technically correct and still answer the wrong question. We begin with the audience, site section, interaction, and decision you need to understand. Then we trace the collection and reporting logic behind the result.

Relevant experience

Our work includes detailed site-section investigations, resource-engagement reports, and Adobe feed-based analysis supporting lead and campaign reporting. We bring findings into a format marketing and business stakeholders can act on.

Site-section and resource-engagement investigations

We examine how people reach a section, which resources they interact with, and where the journey ends. An investigation can connect entry pages, navigation, content, downloads, calls to action, and form activity rather than treating each as an isolated metric.

Geography, language, and site-path scope are agreed before comparisons are made. The report explains the audience and period under review, highlights evidence behind the findings, and distinguishes a meaningful behavior pattern from a collection or definition issue.

  • Site-section and landing-page analysis
  • Resource engagement and conversion-path review
  • Geographic and language scope
  • Stakeholder reports with findings and next actions

Visit-scoped segments and comparable definitions

Adobe Analytics distinguishes visitor, visit, and hit containers. That choice changes which activity a segment includes. Recreating a visit-based question in SQL or PySpark requires preserving the intended session logic, not simply filtering every row that contains a matching page.

We document inclusion and exclusion rules, visit boundaries, qualifying interactions, and the reporting period. When comparing an Adobe view with a pipeline output, we investigate the definitions on both sides before presenting differences as changes in customer behavior.

Adobe data feeds and downstream reporting

Data feeds make detailed analytics data available for downstream processing. We work with feed exports, S3-based staging, and the transformations needed to support reconciliation, cross-site analysis, and lead-reporting workflows.

The objective is an understandable chain from source fields to reported measures. That includes checking record grain, identifiers, timestamps, exclusions, and the point where web activity is joined to a form, campaign, or lead record. A page interaction and a qualified lead remain different events.

Data quality before a performance conclusion

Bot contamination, tracking changes, missing interactions, and inconsistent date boundaries can distort a baseline. We investigate those conditions before a report is used to judge a redesign, campaign, or business unit.

Where a period or source is unsuitable, the analysis should explain the exclusion and its effect on comparability. We do not silently replace missing history with estimates or treat a recent tracking repair as evidence that earlier interactions were captured.

What an engagement can deliver

Investigation report
A scoped analysis with screenshots or tables, interpretations, and recommendations.
Segment specification
Documented inclusion logic and definitions for recurring analysis.
Reconciliation workbook or dataset
A comparison of source and downstream counts with explanations for differences.
Measurement backlog
Prioritized collection, reporting, and content questions for implementation.

Questions & answers

Can you investigate an existing Adobe Analytics implementation?

Yes. We can review an existing site section, resource journey, report, or segment and trace the evidence behind the numbers. The engagement can focus on a business question, a suspected measurement gap, or reconciliation with downstream data.

Why might Adobe Analytics and another dashboard disagree?

Differences can come from segment scope, time zones, reporting windows, session rules, bot exclusions, source processing, or joins to other systems. We compare those definitions before deciding which differences represent a data problem.

Can Adobe data support cost-per-lead reporting?

It can contribute to that reporting when web interactions can be connected to an agreed lead definition and the relevant cost data. We establish the numerator, denominator, attribution window, and available identifiers before calculating the measure.
